"The mission of the Bellevue Police Department is to promote a sense of safety and quality of life in Bellevue, by providing police services with integrity and a commitment to excellence in partnership with our community. The Bellevue Police Department currently employs thirteen officers and four full-time communication officers. There are four Captains, two Sergeants and five Patrolmen. The department is assited with a staff of 13 volunteers, called Auxiliary Officers, who help out the department during emergencies and with high school functions such as football and baseketball games. The department also currently has one man on the Special Response team of the Huron County Sheriff Office. The Bellevue Police Department patrols 55 square miles of highways, including three major routes intersecting into the city (State Route 113, State Route 269, and State Route 18). In addition, State Route 4 is located one mile east of our city. The department has a fleet of 12 marked cruisers and two unmarked cruisers. These cruisers are issued to its officers. This program has saved the city considerable costs in repairs.
The Police Department is located at 3000 Seneca Industrial Parkway in Bellevue.
